its back- now lets kill time reminiscing

I heard the server crashed, but I hadn't tried to come back to see how things are. It looks pretty nice, and its fairly easy to navigate. woot.

Where were you the day the fire alarm went off?

I wasn't feeling well.. I had a cold so I was on sudafed type stuff the whole time... and I was sleeping in, though I was supposed to be staffing somewhere starting around noon. I actually was sleeping still when the alarm went off, I think it was around one pm but I don't know now. I heard the robotic woman voice telling me this was not a drill and to evacuate the building, or something strange. I was trying to beat the alarm clock and make the noise stop when I put it all together. I rolled over and was like, Matt, should we get up and leave? and he was like, probably... but we didn't really rush, using the restroom and getting dressed for outside... we were lucky and on the ground floor, so we just walked out of the door. Matt stayed near the door and I went in search of other people, since everyone was right outside there and I wanted to know wtf.

so yeah.. of course later it was determined that a water piper to the sprinkler system had burst so the alarm goes off so that they find that.

Where were you at M6 the afternoon the fire alarm went off?

cold patio was cold

I was out in the merchant area sitting down watching the AVGN DVD at ScrewAttack's table. In my sock feet. My shoes were next to my chair in the LAN room. PBC interviewed me but it didn't make it into their documentary. Oh well.

For me...

Chad from PBC and I were walking through the doors to the parking garage when it went off. For a few seconds I thought it was us. ;-p

Walking from the game room toward my room...

I was also making fun of the people in the current (I think it was) Gears of War tourney because they had to leave in the middle of a match, hahaha. I was in the tourney but still (and got knocked out), it was funny.

Eh...

I was the one yelling at the guys that we had to restart the Gears of War final match. Oh and that pause was a new thing they just put into that game so we could have used that too.

But they tried to yell at me and i told them no.
