Super Guitar Bros

Super Guitar Bros

The acoustic duo of Steve and Sam make up the greatness that is the Super Guitar Bros! While not blood brothers, these Michigan natives are true bros in game music and will strum their way into your hearts with their unplugged awesomeness! Following up last year's album "Nice.", the boys have been working on a new Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time tribute and are bringing it to Super MAG. Isn't that "Nice." of them?

Come take a seat on the floor and relax as the Super Guitar Bros serenade you with their unique blend of acoustic and classical guitar covers of your favorite video game songs.
To celebrate the release of our new album, a tribute to Zelda: Ocarina of Time, we will be performing the entire album from beginning to end. And with background visuals provided by Nate “Foxxdragon” Horsfall this will be our most epic show to date. Don’t miss it!

Auxcide

Auxcide

If you've been even halfway tuned in to chipmusic during the last five-ish years, you undoubtedly know of the indomitable, Sandstorm loving spirit that is Auxcide.

And if you don't somehow, well shame on you! And it's time to fix that crap move!

Don't miss out on this stellar chance to witness this extraordinarily dance worthy space music making sonofagun's appearance on what will be his largest stage to date, our late night Chiprave.

P.S. Bryan, I dare you to work at least a part of Sandstorm into your set somehow. #DOOEET

Auxcide is an electronic artist who utilizes many different types of hardware live to create emotive and melodic music. Mostly known for combining chiptune with modern synths and samples, Auxcide has recently branched out to using modular synthesizers in an attempt to create even more of a headache for organizers and himself.

Delorean Overdrive

Delorean Overdrive

Delorean Overdrive’s music will take you back in time to an era of analog synthesizers and drum machines. Back to a simpler time when electronic music dominated film scores, hoverboards were only a dream (wait...), and people believed you could do anything with a computer. Back to the futu- nah, we're done with that joke.

While a few members of this San Francisco based act have graced the MAGFest stages previously under the crashfastermoniker, we are happy to bring Delorean Overdrive and their love of 80’s composition over to the east coast for the very first time.

Delorean Overdrive was formed from an obsessive love for 80’s movies and analog gear. Utilizing a massive collection of vintage synths and drum machines, Delorean Overdrive creates soundtracks for movies that never existed!

Marshall Art

Marshall Art

Marshall Art is the international project of rockin' duo jmr and streifig, in which the former builds monuments with authentic NES chiptunes and the latter wrecks them with a concentrated blast of post-rock guitar. With the release of their newest EP, Timeline, they've re-arranged some of their favorite VGM tunes for their return to Super MAGFest, and will be performing alongside the talents of post-rock guitar guru, Cory Johnson, Kirby's favorite drummer, Erich Beckmann, and Arc Impulse's talented keysmith, Jer Roque! It will be an 'Art for the Ages!

Close your eyes.

Imagine, if you will, an alternate universe.

A universe where Pink Floyd really liked video game music.

Imagine that after Roger Waters left (and finished sueing) the band, they opted to replace him with a modified Nintendo console.

Imagine them putting on an all-vgm performance with music from Earthbound, Undertale, Donkey Kong Country, and more.

Sounds cool, right?

There. Now you’re in the right headspace to see Marshall Art at Super MAGFest 2018.
Marshall Art is Jeff “jmr” Roberts and Mikhail “streifig” Ivanov, and will be joined for this performance by Cory Johnson, Jer Roque, and Erich Beckmann.
